The farmers are at the Karmelitermarkt from early on. Buy eggs and cheese, then sit at one of the small restaurants round the stalls.
Afternoon
The Augarten is ten minutes away: the long avenues, the playing fields, and the porcelain museum if it rains.
Evening
At five the Danube Canal fills with people walking, running and sitting by the water. Walk home through the side streets; it takes a quarter of an hour.
