Topping out at Kastanienhof
The roof is on. A small tree on the crane, a speech that was too long, and the keys for spring 2027.
The roof went on in September, and on the last Friday of the month we did what Vienna does: a small tree on the crane, the builders at a long table in the courtyard, and a speech that went on longer than planned.
What happens next
The windows go in before the frost, then the screed, the plaster and the kitchens over the winter. If the weather is kind, the first keys are handed over in spring 2027.
Come and see
The show flat, Top 1.07, is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Bring your questions; we bring the floor plans.
