A day at Kastanienhof
From the front door
The school is first, five minutes east along quiet streets, and the Volkertmarkt is round the corner from it. Back past the tram stop, the Augarten gate is at the end of the street.
Through the park
The kindergarten, the porcelain manufactory and the big playground are all inside the park walls; the MuTh is at its southern edge.
Into the city
The U2 at the Taborstraße and the U1 at the Nestroyplatz take you anywhere. On the way home: the Karmelitermarkt, and an evening by the Danube Canal.
